PeerPositive Kicks Off for Central Ohio Group

"The weekend kept escalating and
growing into something great...
At the end of the day on Sunday,
no one wanted to go home."

- Frontline Youth Communications owner David Mahan.

Logan, OH - While college football was kicking off its 2008 season, the Columbus, Ohio PeerPositve group was kicking off it first fellowship event with a weekend retreat to beautiful Geneva Hills in Logan, OH.

The event was an action-packed two days of workshops, camping, team-building, boating, fishing and sports. More importantly, it provided a safe, family-centered way for teens, parents, and youth leaders to come together and begin equipping their group with the tools necessary to make a positive impact in their community.

"The weekend kept escalating and growing into something great," said Frontline Youth Communications owner David Mahan. "At the end of the day on Sunday, no one wanted to go home."

Events like these will be highly encouraged for all the groups receiving Certification Training in the coming months. Even before the PeerPositive site is officially launched, Frontline is in the process of planning over dozen Certification Trainings before the end of 2008.

"The reception to this program has been phenominal." Mahan began. "I can't tell you how many people have said they've been waiting for something like this to tie their programs together."
